Can i ring you even if i have placed an order on your Australian Website?

You sure can. We know that it is difficult with the time difference and also expensive to call Australia. As we are the one company we can access all orders placed in Australia and like wise they can access ours. So any queries however small, feel free to give us a ring.

 

How can I place an order?

The easiest way to place orders is via the website, as it is available any time of the day or night. You can also place orders via fax, telephone or post.

 

Where do I enter my gift card message?
You will find options for selecting your choice of gift card and wrapping paper and and area for you to enter the message that you would like printed inside the card on all of our gifts.

 

Can I specify a delivery date?
Most definitely, you will find a place to enter a delivery date on each of our gifts. If you leave it blank we will dispatch your gifts straight away. If you specify a date we will schedule your gift to be dispatched so that they are delivered on or by the date that you specify. If you have gifts that you would like to be delivered on different dates then these must be placed on separate orders, if you place them on the one order we will deliver all the gifts on the order on the earliest date entered.

 

How can I pay for my order?
We accept all major credit cards and bank cards. The most efficient form of payment is by credit or debit card, as validation and funds are managed in real time it ensures your order is processed in the quickest possible time frame. If you don't have a credit card or bank card - no worries. Give us a ring, tell us what gift, wrapping and card, let us know how you would like to pay and as soon as we have received payment we will dispatch the gift. Can I order gifts for the whole family to be delivered to the one address?
Yes, that is no problem what so ever. Simply select the gift wrap and type of card you would like along with the message to be printed inside the card for each gift that you place in the shopping cart. You can also specify the date that you would like your gifts delivered. We will then print each card and add the card to the corresponding gift before we pack and dispatch them.

 

Can I order gifts to be delivered on a certain date?
Yes, simply specify the required delivery date in the area provided on each gift page. We will then calculate the required dispatch date and email to let you know that your gift has been scheduled. We will then email again when we dispatch your gifts.

 

Do you include any order or invoice information with my gift?
No, we don't include any order or invoice information what so ever. Your parcel will include the gifts wrapped with your choice of paper and ribbon, the gift cards in their envelopes with your message printed inside and a compliment slip. And that is it.


Do you replace items in hampers if they are unavailable?
Yes, if an item that makes up part of a hamper is unavailable we will replace this with a like minded product that is of equal or greater value. If the item is discontinued we will update the website description and replace the discontinued item with the replacemehnt item. If the unavailability is temporary we will leave the website description as is.

 

How do I know what is happening to my order?
Easy, once your order has been placed, we will send you an e-mail confirming your order details. Once you have received this you can track the order through our website by clicking on the "Members - Click Here" option on the right hand side and logging in. You will then be able to view a list of your current orders and their details. We will also keep you up to date with the status of your order by emailing you at each step of the process.  Once the gift has been picked and wrapped, again when it is dispatched and again once we can confirm that it has been delivered. If it is sent by standard or express post we will also provide you with the Postal tracking number so that you can track your gifts progress yourself.


Do you provide gift wrapping and personal cards?
You bet. Every gift that you select has the option as to which wrapping paper and gift card to be sent with it along with an area to enter your gift card message. We will print these in a hand written font inside the card ... and we don't charge a penny, it's all part of the service.


What delivery methods do you use?
This depends on the type of gift ordered and where. We have our own vans that deliver gifts in and arround the Cornwall area. For all other deliveries we use courriers for both regular or express.


Do I need to be home to receive my order?
If a courrier is delivering the gift and nobody is home, they will attempt to either leave it with a neigbour or leave a card detailing how you can obtain your gift by picking it up from the local courier depot or arranging a suitable time for re-delivery. If we are delivering it ourselves we will try and ring and arrange a delivery time prior to delivery. If specified we can instruct our delivery drivers to leave parcels in a secure place as long as they do not contain alcohol. All alcohol based gifts will reuiqre somebody over the age of 18 to be at home to sign for them.


Who Can Order Gifts That Contain Alcohol?
The licensing Act of 2003 which came into effect on the 24th of November 2005 specifies that is illegal for persons under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol and that it is also illegal to knowingly purchase alcohol for a person under the age of 18. We perform age verification checks against the recipient of all gifts that contain alcohol and will not deliver unless the age verification is passed. Should this be the case with an order that you place we will contact you immediately. All deliveries of alcohol will require the signature of somebody over the age of 18.


Can I cancel or change my order?
For sure, so long as we haven’t dispatched your order, we can cancel or change your order. Just give us a ring or send us an email stating the order reference and as to whether you wish to cancel or change the order.

I didn't receive an email, why?
It may be that you email provider has automatically sent our email to your junk folder. This quite often happens with Hotmail accounts. So the first thing to do is to check your Junk folder, if our email is there then you just need to move it to your inbox and your email program should ask you if you want the sender adding to you safe senders list, just answer yes. The best way to avoid this happening is to add gifts2thedoor.co.uk to your safe senders list, this will ensure that all emails sent by us (whether they are from sales or a member of staff) will go to your inbox. 


Can I send Alcohol Abroad?
Unfortunately due to restrictions in our Alcohol Licence we are unable to deliver alcohol based gifts outside of the UK.
